essays, studies & notations is a sound work which inspiration came/comes from the words/word/literature/philosophy – an accompaniment to readings and a consequence of those/that – illustrates in the form of a soundtrack also the method and act of writing – in the past, in the present > the rustling of leaves permeates some of the tracks, a rhythm found and recorded and adulterated by one’s hands and the ghosts of writers – mário de cesariny, allain robbe grillet, jean-pierre baylin, marquis de sade, yukio mishima, fernando pessoa, natália correia, al berto, miguel rovisco, william burroughs > the machines are but excuses for echoing obsessions and stigmata’s – the body is the music and the instruments the words that sound elongated and perennial as all/everything > abuse of echo and delay is of purpose / on purpose: decay music, decaying words – decayed world: liquid masses viscous invading chords and caves on an infinite beach > images come from films, fassbinder, wenders, tarkovsky, manoel de oliveira, bela tarr: echoes and reverbed nostalgia across the spectrum of words and glimpses of dreams and nightmares > the nature of altruism comes in diverse shapes and names: c.cu, phirnis, bipolarbeats, james mccall, inicolabug, oorlab, fvm aka mochka, das sombreros, etc, but especially through the pulse and richness of synopsis decay – thank you all >
